First Day of School

School started last week.  Tyler started first grade on Tuesday.  I was worried about how he would handle being at school for a long time, but so far he hasn’t complained too much.

Alex started preschool on Wednesday.  He didn’t want me to walk him to his room.  I drove to the door of the school, he got out of the car and went to his class all by himself. 

I’m excited to see what they learn this year. 

Alex’s Bug Bites

Last week my parents and sister came to visit.  We went up by Timpanagos caves for a picnic.  The boys had lots of fun playing in the water and throwing rocks.

 

Alex got a lot of but bites and the next day looked like this:

It’s a little hard to see, but he has a big bump on his forehead.  The next day it swelled up even more to this:

I had a family reunion to go to that day and I wanted to just get everything taken care of before we left.  So I took him to the instacare and they said to just give him Benadryl and it will go away in a few days.  It did.  The moral of the story is that I should get some bug repellent for Alex.
